Bark, Mulch, and Compost

This is our most popular bark! It has nice orange/brown/red color tones. It adds a great texture in your flower beds with its mix of fines and nugget sized pieces of bark. Out of all our barks, the Medium Fir does the best job at keeping weeds down.

This product is our darkest and finest bark we carry. It is made from recycled forest products that have been ground and left to cook for months giving it its beautiful, dark color. We then screen the Dark Fine through 3/8” screens to capture the smallest fines and remove any large pieces of wood. This bark has little nutritional value for those looking for a dark product that can suppress weeds.

 Nugget Bark is back by popular demand! This product is screened so only the 1 - 2" nuggets remain. Along with having a very clean appearance, nugget bark is the longest lasting ground cover we have to offer. This bark also provides great weed suppression  since there are no fines present. 

Mini Pebble is a beautiful bark to use in your finished landscape. This product is screened so only 1/8" - 3/8" pebbles remain. There are little to no fines present which makes Mini Pebble a clean look and suppresses weeds.  

Natural Mulch is a  lighter colored mulch  made with finely shredded natural wood mulch that we run through our 3/8" screen! Great for an affordable beauty bark and to suppress weeds! 

This chipped cedar is 2" - 4” in size and is naturally splinter resistant. It is great for play areas or around any plants that love acidic soil such as blueberries, rhododendrons and other evergreen plants.

Dark Screened Mulch is a darker-toned mulch made with larger pieces of shredded natural wood mulch running around 1-2" in size but without small fines. Great for an affordable beauty bark and to suppress weeds! This product can be used for a variety of projects such as garden pathways, weed suppression, or soaking up wet areas.

Medium Hogfuel is made from shredded logs and stumps that can be used for a variety of projects such as garden pathways, weed suppression, or to soak up wet areas! It is ground at 3" then screened to remove most of the fines.     

Small Hogfuel is a finer mulch made with pieces of shredded natural wood mulch running around 0.5-1" in size. Great for an affordable beauty bark and to suppress weeds! This product can be used for a variety of projects such as garden pathways, weed suppression, or soaking up wet areas!

We are a licensed compost facility and specialize in turning waste into nutrient dense compost! This product goes through an intense 3 -4 month composting process at a controlled 140 – 160 degrees. That process burns away any weeds or chemicals that may be present. It is then screened through 3/8” screens. Although this product is not certified organic, it is made organically!  Use this product as a planting media, to mulch flower and garden beds, or to enhance your native soil health!    

Fertile Mulch is compost that has been twice screened through 3/8″ screens. This makes the fertile mulch dark, fine, and full of nutrients for the soil and plants! It is our favorite beauty covering to use.
